Before the API freeze, need to define a nice, thread-safe API for specifying buffer data from C++. Will likely be related to the model/Repeater class already in progress, but lower level.
In particular, API should be efficient for per-frame uploading for animated data, since this is the path many future examples and extensions may use - CPU-based vertex skinning, particle animation and more.
