Qt Creator scrolls unexpectedly after mouse wheel is used on another monitor

    • Linux, dual monitor setup with separate X screens (DISPLAY=:0.0 on one monitor, :0.1 on the other... I suspect this issue might not appear on a setup with a single X screen), fluxbox window manager

    Description

      When using the mouse wheel to scroll up and down in the editor, everything works as expected. Additionally, when the editor loses focus and the mouse wheel is used in other applications on the same monitor, everything works as expected. However, when Qt Creator loses focus and the mouse wheel is scrolled in another monitor, Qt Creator appears not to scroll, but the next time I scroll up or down in the editor window, it jumps to a random spot (probably based in how much scrolling was done) and then resumes normal behavior.

      I recently upgraded from Qt Creator 3.2.2 and never noticed the issue there. Also, I'm not sure if it's a Qt Creator upgrade issue or a Qt 4->5 issue.

      Steps to reproduce:
      1. Open any file in Qt Creator (long enough to enable the scrollbar)
      2. Scroll to the middle of the file
      3. Move cursor to other monitor and scroll the mouse wheel
      4. Move the cursor back to the Qt Creator window and scroll... The position should jump unexpectedly at first, then resume normal operation
