    • Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit, Visual Studio 2015 CTP, NVDA Screen reader

      This happens only when assistive technology (in my case NVDA scree nreader ) is active.

      Using a Debug build in Visual Studio 2015, the following assertion is raised after moving the cursor behind the last character of the first line in a QtextEdit widget containing multiple lines:

      ASSERT: "index != 0" in file c:\work\build\qt5_workdir\w\s\qtbase\include\qtgui\
      5.4.1\qtgui\private\../../../../../src/gui/text/qfragmentmap_p.h, line 849

      I have attached a minimal example as well as the stack trace obtained from Visual Studio.
