Mac: we should remove unneccessary drawing updates when nothing in a window changes

Run e.g. sdi example with quartz debug on. When the mouse hoovers over the buttons, the whole window gets repainted over and over again, sometimes also the menubar. We should use quartz debug to identify more such stuff and try to clean it a bit up
