From https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=346122 I was apparently sent here on account of "QFontDialog". It describes with 132 and 144 DPI screenshots how select lists are badly overcrowded due in most part to too small initial window size that remains virtually same size regardless of screen density. Initial window size should take into account screen density so that physical sizes within select lists are good WRT A11Y and U7Y. Screenshot attached here is 168 DPI.
