Description
Calls to QNAM::get for local files don’t return immediately but exhibit access latency for the file which can be pretty high for non cached files from an HDD or a network share.
Starting 10 downloads with 70 ms latency stalls the thread for nearly a second while retrieving no data.
The problem obviously gets worse when the number of downloads increases.
