QComboBox popups on Mac OS X 10.6 have video memory junk at the top

QComboBox popups on OS X 10.6 display a rather obnoxious bit noise pattern at the top and bottom of the popup. This is with Qt 4.5.2. With Qt 4.4 you will also see the display bug on the same configuration (but not as intense). To reproduce, try using any of the Qt demo programs that have a QComboBox widget in them.

Steps to reproduce / test case
QComboBox popups on osx 10.6 display a rather obnoxious bit noise pattern at the top and bottom of the popup. This is with Qt 4.5.2. If i use Qt 4.4 i also see the display bug on the same machine (but not as intense interestingly enough). I've attached a screensnap of the problem. try using any of the Qt demo programs that have a QComboBox widget in them.

PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM IN QT 4.5.3. It affects all shipping Qt applications on osx 10.6, which means any and all of my customers on osx 10.6 (and this is true for every other mac developer) experience it. And while it is cosmetic in nature, it is in the face of the user in a very direct way and it leads them to assume that the software is flaky or broken.
