Mouse events not delivered to the parent when a child widget is deleted in an event handler

If a user presses a mouse button on a widget and this widget propagates the event up to the parent and the parent in turn deletes the child, subsequent move events are not delivered to the parent until the mouse button is released, even if it has enabled mouse tracking.
