Crashing when waking up from suspend/laptop is undocked

      Qt5 apps seems to crash when a laptop is waked up from suspension/undocking a laptop. Sebastian Ramacher, Debian VLC's maintainer, came up with a test code [testc] which I'm attaching.

      As he does not has a docking station he managed to reproduce it by waking up from suspend.

      I'm also attaching a backtrace from that example program.
