QMenu sets _NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE to _NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE_NORMAL (or nothing) should be _NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE_POPUP_MENU

    Description

      netwm spec[1] suggests
      "This hint SHOULD also be set for override-redirect windows to allow compositing managers to apply consistent decorations to menus, tooltips etc."

      And KWin effects do indeed discriminate by type
