Instantiating a QNetworkAccessManager causes Wi-Fi scans to be initiated repeatedly on a MacOSX. This seems to have an undesirable periodic side-effect on network latencies. When I ping -c 100 my wireless router the average round-trip time goes up to 18ms (max ~240ms) if I have the attached QNAM Qt application running, whereas the typical baseline is around 4ms (max 14ms).

      System wifi logs attached.
