When installing the binary package on a Mac that already has Qt builds installed (in my case there were installs at /usr/Trolltech/qt-everywhere-opensource-4.6.0-beta1, /usr/Trolltech/qt-everywhere-opensource-4.6.0-beta1-carbon-uni and /usr/Trolltech/kinetic) then the installer sometimes overwrites the application files in one of these directories instead of under the /Developer/Applications/Qt directory like it should. Have attached the install.log file.
