[Windows] Ctrl+<number> prints the number into an editor in QWebEngineView

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

If there is an editor on a web page, which is shown in QWebEngineView, then Ctrl+<number> as well as some of the special characters are printed into the editor. But the characters should not be printed with Ctrl modifier.

The problem is not reproducible in basic Qt editors like QTextEdit or in Chrome (only special characters can be tested there). And it is not reproducible on Linux/Ubuntu 14.04. And also Ctrl+<letter> doesn't print anything (Ctrl+e is not bound to a shortcut i.e. it is good for testing).

I attach a test app, which opens Google Translate. Just type Ctrl+<number> to the editor.
