I compiled Qt from 5.6 git branch and after make install -j4, Qt.labs.controls module is not installed.
Seems this a regression and started after some updates.
I configured it using the following command:
./configure -prefix ~/Development/qt5.6_git -opensource -confirm-license -nomake examples -nomake tests
If I enter into qtquickcontrols2 subdirectory and run make install from here, all works.
