QAbstractItemView::SingleSelection does not work as advertized

    Description

      QAbstractItemView::SingleSelection does say that Ctrl-clicks will not toggle the selection. In Qt 4.8.3 that is indeed the case.

      In Qt 5.5 it does toggle the selection though.

      The attached project demonstrates the behavior. Please click on any item in the QListWidget. Then Ctrl-Click on the same item again.

      In Qt4 the Ctrl-click does nothing. In Qt5 the item gets deselected.

      After reading the documentation I expect the behavior of Qt4.
