If you take a string like "ポイント(&H)" which has a mnemonic in it, calculate the width of the string, with the mnemonic hidden, then pass that width into QFontMetrics:::elideText, also with the option to hide the mnemonic, it will elide the text anyways, even though it has the space to properly draw it.
