    Description

      On my system it isn't possible to connect to BTLE devices, the QLowEnergyController::connected signal will never be emitted. This is reproducible both with the example programs (heartlistener and lowenergyscanner) and my own code.

      I have tested this with all three BTLE sensor devices I have access to. Sadly I only have one controller device available, the Intel 8087:0a2a device integrated to my laptop.

      This is with bluez version 5.36 and Linux 4.5.0-rc7. I'd expect the bluez version to be fairly important here.

      lowenergyscanner outputs the following on the console when attempting to connect to a device:

      1. /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/examples/bluetooth/lowenergyscanner/lowenergyscanner
        Error: "Unknown Error"
        qt.bluetooth.bluez: void QBluetoothSocketPrivate::_q_readNotify() 12 error: -1 "Resource temporarily unavailable"
        Error: "Unknown Error"
        Disconnect from device

      This looks very much like the same issue as the one reported here: https://forum.qt.io/topic/54687/qlowenergycontroller-not-working
