QPrinter: print preview does not produce any PDF file when no default printer is specified - Mac OS X

      0. Go to System Preferences/Print & Fax.
      Delete all printers.
      List displays "Click + to add a printer or fax". Do not do so. Leave the list empty.
      1. Launch qt/examples/richtext/orderform (or any other print-capable example).
      2. File/Print...
      The Print dialog appears, with "No Printer Selected".
      3. Click Preview button.
      BUG: Print dialog closes without generating a preview PDF.
      Expect: PDF file with preview appears.

      Contrast Qt's PDF behavior with /Applications/TextEdit.app. TextEdit.app, even when no printer configured, successfully produces a preview PDF.
