Designer: setting a layout does not automatically update the Property Editor window

      When a layout is set on a widget in Designer, the Property Editor window does not automatically update that widget's properties to include the layout.

      The user needs to click a different widget on the form for the Property Editor to update.

      The layout commands do an clearSelection() all after each operation (which results in the maincontainer being selected). The 'buggy' behaviour therefore occurs only for main containers.
