    Description

In QML and using QPainter text drawing with fractional point sizes.
On Windows I have tried set hinting preferences QFont::PreferNoHinting for font, but result the same.
How can I draw text with fractional point sizes on Windows smoothly?
I have attached two example projects and screenshots form different platform.
      Actual result:

      • the width of the text does only change at certain font sizes.

      Expected result:

      • the width of the text should change smoothly. Please see Expected.svg.
