Current opengl32sw.dll that we ship on Windows is built with Mesa 10.2 . It seems that this version sometimes crashes when destructing a context, see e.g. QTBUG-48222 , QTBUG-54063 .
IMO we should try whether an updated opengl32sw.dll, built with e.g. Mesa 11.2, helps. Another option is to try 12.0 (to be released soon), and the new OpenSWR rasterizer.
