Animations in multiple quick windows causes high cpu usage with intel driver

    Description

      I have found a simple QML file which illustrates the problem. The problem occurs with the intel driver, and when using animations in multiple windows. See this code below which you can run with "qmlscene".

      So when one of the 2 numberanimations is commented out, there is no increase in cpu usage. It doesn't matter which one! But when they both are active, you get high cpu usage. With proprietary nvidia drivers, it seems I don't get the problem.

      I tried running it on my development system too, also using the intel driver. When I run the example on my Linux Mint 17(ubuntu 14.04 based) with the distro-provided qmlscene of Qt 5.2.1, then qmlscene even stops with an assertion in xcb:

      Then I ran with the official Qt 5.6.0 binaries for gcc_64, and then no crash, but also the high cpu usage.

      Another test FYI: With nouveau drivers on ubuntu 16.04 and Qt 5.7.0 prebuilt I also see an increase in cpu usage.

      I also tried with QSG_RENDER_LOOP=threaded, and then that resulted in a stable cpu usage, but, after a minute of 5, the application just hangs, or crashed, at the same location as above:

      A test in Ubuntu 16.04 using the threaded render loop gave this result.

      Xlib: sequence lost (0x14554 > 0x4556) in reply type 0x23!
      
      

      So the "Xlib" line only comes after a minute of 5, and the animations keep going. However, after another few minutes, the green animation stops and the window with the green animation hangs! The red animation keeps going.

      If you want me to test anything, a patch, whatever, I am at your disposal, because I really want this bug fixed!
