    Description

Currently the FileDialog does not provide a fine integration in android as it does for IOS in case of selecting pictures.

      http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qml-qtquick-dialogs-filedialog.html#folder-prop

Instead, it shows a regular file chooser interface which is not ideal for dealing with pictures. Pictures have random file names that no end user knows them by name because the gallery app shows them by thumbnail and usually sorted by date.

Also, I don't think it would be a good strategy to recreate a custom of kinda of "picture chooser" in Qt. Because of the nature of Android where even by making a picture chooser that looks&feel similar to Android stock it can upset users that have phones from manufactures like Samsung, HTC, LG (etc...) where those manufactures have their own "skin/modifications".

P.S. I've attached two images comparing what is currently available to pick images in android vs what is provided by Qt to pick images in android.

      Cheers
