ctrl and shift keys don't work to select items using touchscreen on linux

I use a laptop with touchscreen, ctrl and shift keys do no effect to select items using toushcreen

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open dolphin file manager (compiled against qt 5.7 here) and hold ctrl to select random items
2. or hold shift to select items in sequence
3.

Actual Results:
selection is undone when I select the second item while hold ctrl or shift key

Expected Results:
random selection must work when I hold ctrl and selection in sequence must work when I hold shift
