QAudioDecoder not working on Windows since Qt 5.6

    Description

      The problem is that wmfengine.dll is no longer shipped, which is the only service-provider for "org.qt-project.qt.audiodecode". See QTBUG-56348. Aparently, this is due to a change of default to a less capable one. This breaks applications.

      Qt-5.5 seemingly shipped with more than just the default backend.
