      Hi,

      Would it be possible to have access to WebSettings or if it is not possible to add webSetting.setDomStorageEnabled (true) to the file : qtwebview/src/jar/src/org/qtproject/qt5/android/view/QtAndroidWebViewController.java

      Indeed this option allows in some cases to save navigation data. I had recently a problem with one of my applications which for some sites no navigation data (login, password, ...) were not backed up. By making this change it should work (test directly in Java with Android Studio).
