Blinking cursor does not always have focus

Sometimes the cursor sits in a place and blinks like the translation input field.
So you would expect if you press Ctrl+A that everything in the input field will be selected.

Well sometimes everything in the Source text is selected instead even though the cursor is not there.

I see it happening for plural translations at least.
