    Description

As described in this qt forum thread|https://forum.qt.io/topic/75612/project-error-unknown-module-s-in-qt-waylandclient-private], building qtwayland fails during make with the error:

      undefined reference to `xkb_keysym_to_utf32'

I do have libxkbcommon installed from source, and I've pulled the latest HEAD of the 5.8 branch. I am on Fedora 23. I have been building the wayland/weston stack from source for quite some time without any problems.

~/install/include/ does contain all necessary headers, including xkbcommon/*.

Attached is the full error message from make.
