[REG 4.8->5.6.2] QGLWidget does not honor request for stereo

    Description

      QGLWidget created with QGLFormat constructed from QGL::FormatOptions with QGL::StereoBuffers (and setStereo(true)) afterward returns format with stereo() == false.
      This is happening on hardware that supports quad-buffered stereo, using code that worked with Qt 4.8.

      GLX confirms that hardware stereo is available, but the created QGLWidget does not support it.
