Flashing tool doesn't detect write protected SD-Cards

Windows environment (didn't rest on Linux)
SD Card with write switch in Lock position
Flashing tool just says "write error"

Attempt in Windows to run the filesystem scanner states "Device is write locked" (or something close to that).

Would be nice if we could bring that error message up to the user rather than "write error" as it'll help the user more quickly diagnose the problem.

Not high priority to fix but if someone is fixing something in the code anyway it would be good to take a look at this.
