    Description

      We need to do various improvements to the engine in terms of memory consumption and run-time performance to address the needs of large scale applications. Normally that would be an endless task, but the purpose of this issue is to track various specific improvements in this area with a known impact.

          Bug - A problem which impairs or prevents the functions of the product. QTBUG-62522 Loading QML files in 5.9 causes much higher memory consumption than in 5.6

          • P1: Critical - Urgent and Important, will STOP the release if matched with set FixVersion field. This includes regressions from the last version that are not edge cases; Data loss; Build issues; All but the most unlikely crashes/lockups/hanging; Serious usability issues and embarrassing bugs & Bugs critical to a deliverable. This is the highest possible priority for requirements.
