      It seems the multiple inheritance from DirectShowObject does not find applause. An approach like "Windows: Introduce helper class for implementing COM interfaces" qtbase/c25b13cee03eb7421c71535cf712bba96f2b6bb3 https://codereview.qt-project.org/#/c/185760/ could be used, but it would need adaptation to the multi inheritance.
