The new HEIC/HEIF image format plugin fails to open images on iOS. Attached will be a sample app and a sample image. The QImageReader::supportedImageFormats() lists "heic" and "heif", but when select a HEIC file from my iOS Album, it reports that it is unable to decode and that it is unable to read image data. The sample image was captured with the Camera app on iPhone 8 running iOS 11. The High Efficiency is the default format (Settings > Camera > Formats).
