Copy-paste stops working after a while (resurrected)

    Description

      After a while (I can't determine how long), many Qt apps cannot copy text to clipboard or selection. The following message is printed repeatedly on standard error:

      QXcbClipboard::setMimeData: Cannot set X11 selection owner

      The problem from QTBUG-28398 does not seem to be resolved now.
