    Description

      Hi all,

since the existence of Qt I've a problem with QTabWidget or to be more precisely QTabBar.

The overflow/navigation buttons which appear, if there are more tabs available than space are painted on top of the tabs. The result is, that you are still able to see the underlaying tab between the buttons- its icon and text. No other application on earth is having such an issue, not Visual Studio, not FireFox, neither Notepad++.

It looks pretty ugly and more or less it's kind of confusion, because as user you move your mouse slowly and precisely to not hit the tab in the background instead of the navigation buttons. This can't happen at all, because the hitbox of the navigation button won't let you to select the underlaying tab - what's not bad at all, but it's still odd.

Another crosstalk occurs if you add a corner widget (top right) beside the navigation buttons - then there is again a gap between the navigation buttons and the corner widget where you are able to see the underlaying tab again.

So MAYBE if you have some time to spare, could you please put the navigation button beside the tabs and not above them? (Or any other solution that solves this damn Look'n'Feel breaking problem?)

      Kind regards,
      Mike
