      Using "IPA Gothic" font with freetype font engine on Japanese Windows 7, underscores are not rendered at all if font size is less than 10.

      IPA Gothic font is available for download at:

      (Direct download link: https://ipafont.ipa.go.jp/old/ipafont/ipag00303.php)

      This issue seems to be font specific and only reproduces on Japanese version of Windows 7.
