When there are two instances of an application running that listen for clipboard changes, then after pasting an image only one instance will see the image. One instance will see a valid image whereas the other will end up reporting null.

With the example, run two instances of the application and then copy an image, for example from a web browser by right clicking the image and copy. One instance of the app will indicate the image is valid, the other will indicate it is null.
