Implementation details

All the updated apps need to comply with Design Guidelines for Demo apps that can be found from http://brand.qt.io/demos/

Updates to the existing demos (in this priority order and needed by QWS):

1. Graphical effects – let’s keep this; update needed (QTBUG-62790)
2. Media player – update needed (QTBUG-62791)
3. Charts – to be updated (QTBUG-62792)
4. Text input – let’s keep this; to be renamed as Virtual keyboard demo
5. Webrowser demo – update needed (QTBUG-62793)
6. About Qt for Device Creation - update required; needs to be more commercial (--QTBUG-63091--)

New demos (separate JIRA task will be created for each):

• new Controls2 demo (replaces existing Dashboard, Enterprise controls gallery, Enterprise flat controls)
• new Qt3D demo (replaces existing Canvas3d studio demo) - POssible this comes from the 3D Studio team as part of what they are already doing
• todo: New QML demo
• e-bike demo -QTPM-791- if it is finished in time for this
• Relevant apps from 'Qt in Action' application (QTPM-1006)

To be removed (no separate JIRA story, part of this user story and under one task):

• About B2Qt – This is part o f the demo launcher settings
• Cinematic demo – to be removed
• Camera – to be removed
• Data visualization – to be removed
• Canvas3d studio – to be removed
• Dashboard, Enterprise controls gallery, Enterprise flat controls – remove
