Description
NOTICE: get the project from https://drive.google.com/open?id=13wLGHthU5HiNA-kl6lHHX6156SWQZmjL
After NVIDIA released drivers version 390.77 for Geforce,
if an Intel integrated GPU is present in the system (version of driver not relevant)
the QtQuick app attached (in bin folder a version already compiled for Qt 5.8,
in project folder the .pro and related sources) is not working correctly because
it looks like the engine is called for drawing in an infinite loop, stopping the app from
behave correctly.
To reproduce the bug
- From NVIDIA Control Panel select the NVIDIA video card as defalt
- run BreakNvidia.exe
- Click the button as from the image below
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1kjAd46rqpNN20TjaJu7ZqAB5eMSTIa5M
- Select a different item from combo box as from the image below
https://drive.google.com/open?id=17Lrk1r1-TqEXE5MJqLm0H8ezqzVR-aPQ
I'll see that the color of the central panel will not change.
The combo box itself will not be updated according to the item selected.
If before starting the app you set from the NVIDIA Control Panel the Intel integrated GPU
the app will work correctly.
