Qt 5.11.0 build process displays 'System Error' message boxes

While building 5.11.0 on Windows 10 64bit Pro, VC2017 15.7.2, there is a sequence of pop-up message boxes that state for an executable the following message:
'The code execution cannot proceed because QT5*d.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.'

This occurs for the following exeutables:
comapp.exe
simpleax.exe
menusax.exe
openglax.exe
