Holding down a key on OSX doesn't work correctly

      This is similar but not identical to https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-50006. 

      50006 is a feature request for an accent menu to be displayed on OSX.

      This is a bug report, that holding down a key on OSX (10.13.3) leads to BOTH an accent menu being displayed, AND the key repeating, which is obviously unintended, as it addresses neither use case.
