    Description

      This is required in order to implement zlinux_dmabuf_v1, but may also be useful in other use cases where we want to mix different types of buffers from clients or when mixing GPU and non-shm software rendering.

      Note: this is not required for the common case where the GL driver automatically switches to dmabuf.
