Animator freezes FileDialog

I use a QuickControls2 BusyIndicator (having selected the "fusion" style) and a QtLabs.Platform FileDialog. When the BusyIndicator is running, the FileDialog freezes or has very bad performance (it takes several seconds until a click has been registered). With the BusyIndicator not running, the FileDialog is working fine. I profiled my app with the qml profiler and cannot find anything suspicious.

I enclose a minimal example which reproduces the problem on my system. What is happening here?
