    Description

      QQmlApplicationEngine with Scatter3D hangs on closing. To replicate, create a new "Qt Quick Application - Empty" and then add a Scatter3D item in main.qml. Then launch the application and close the window. You will not see the application exit with a return code in the application output. Instead it will hang indefinitely.

      Attached is the c++ and qml code to replicate. This was previously working with Qt 5.11.0 MinGW Windows 7.
