The .qtplugin files are deployed from epoc32\winscw\c\private\. In a clean build, the WINSCW might never be called, which makes the deployment of these files fail. The proper solution could be to generate the files into a target agnostic location, and deploy them from there, or to handle the deployment for both targets separately.
