When opening a .ts file and trying to input a value for "Translation to [Japanese]" or "Translator comments for [Japanese]" using iBus - Japanese Anthy it just inputs English characters that don't resolve to Japanese kana.

This input works just fine for other applications on my Manjaro KDE instance like LibreWrite, Firefox, etc. Qt Linguist is the only application I've noticed thus far that doesn't seem to allow this input method which as a person contributing Japanese translations to FLOSS is particularly frustrating.
