Clipboard stops working

    Description

      This is a bug that has been manifesting for some time. After a while (days, usually), sending data to the clipboard stops working in Qt applications. Selecting text no longer sets the middle-click paste buffer. "Copy" (presumably, any of QClipboard::set*) stops setting the text. However, pasting (both middle-click and ctrl-V) still work normally, provided that the content to be pasted was supplied by a working application.

      GTK applications do not seem to be affected. Restarting the affected applications "fixes" the problem.
