1. Start the online installer.
2. Click "Next".
3. Enter your Qt Account data and click "Next".
   You have to wait, mainly for "Fetching Repositories". You'll get to a page that says barely more than "welcome".
4. Click "Next".
   You have to wait again while the installer is downloading more data.

Having to click "Next" in step 4 is just an annoyance. In this step, the installer does not get any further user input. It could just proceed in one go. Users could then do something else and when they return, the installer would be ready.
