Description
The reason for the exercise with developing QQuickPointerEvents as event-wrappers in Qt Quick was to prototype the changes we need in the QEvent hierarchy in Qt 6... and also because QEvents are public and we can't make most kinds of changes there without breaking compatibility.
I plan on making it something like the attached image (but a lot of details about fields and methods are missing in this version of the diagram).
