Printing crops the page at apprx. 1/3, only with specific printer

This problem occurs with a specific printer at work but only with Qt apps.

The printer is a "Canon ImageRunner Advanve C3525i".

The error happens with my own apps using Qt5.12 (but also with prior versions) and I also noticed the same problem using FreeCAD when printing a technical drawing, which is using Qt4 under the hood afaik.

The observation is that the page (tested with 1 page total) starts being printed normally, but after about one third or one quarter of the page, nothing is printed any more. If I choose another printer, it works. The problem can be reproduced but only on that specific printer. That printer works with other applications, so I think the problem must be Qt-related. I don't have any idea what may cause this issue.
